PURPOSE:
To establish a high level of dialog and debate of reform of the American healthcare system based on new comprehensive macro economic and statistical facts, estimates, projections and analyses.

GOAL:
To see to the enactment of single payer universal healthcare as a public policy in the United States.

STRATEGIES:
- Establish an independent organization with uncompromising commitment to the goal and with experienced and tested multidisciplinary leadership to pursue the single goal.
- Publish and publicize the comprehensive macro statistical and economic study of the American healthcare system.
- Develop and publish a detailed proposal for comprehensive universal healthcare for the United States based on the macro economic and statistical analyses and incorporating the latest concepts for maximum benefits.
- Advance the theory of cost saving healthcare policy based on stopping care denial induced illness, negotiating regulation of fees, and eliminating multiple payment policies and the associated administrative overburden.
- Conduct a program to develop a coalition of organizations and grassroots support with a higher level of understanding of the issue.
- Use the publicized findings to challenge and dislodge the health business lobby from its ability to resist the establishment of universal care.
- Support the existing initiatives for single payer universal healthcare.

ACTION STEPS:
- Produce and release a video presentation and a graphic presentation pamphlet of the new economic and statistical macro data, utilizing a supporting celebrity, to be sent to all advocate organizations and religious, community service, labor, business, fraternal, community, political and other organizations.
- Fully publicize an introduction of the new level of information on the healthcare issue. Distribute materials to investigative media.
- Establish a speaker’s bureau to appear at organization meetings to extend the program and seek endorsements from organizations and their leaders, from business and labor leaders, and from political leaders.
- Establish a university project of research of care denial induced illness to validate the conclusions regarding its influence and maintain publicity momentum.
- Challenge the health business lobby organizations to debate. Call for investigations of their motives and activities.
- Send all materials as appropriate to state legislators and governors and their staffs and to the members of Congress and their committees and staffs.
- Develop, publish and publicize a detailed healthcare plan for the United States stipulating the projected costs and savings and the structure and policies.
- Establish full scale web site communication.
- Establish fund raising via member solicitation on the web site and connected to sale of publications.
- Monitor and provide professional assistance to the implementation of a single payer healthcare system.

THE AGGREGATE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS:
- To identify issues which appear to be driven by false perceptions propagated by interest or advocacy groups or by political sources and to seek to remedy the distortions in public understanding by creating meaningful, fact-based dialog and debate.
- In the case of healthcare the findings the macro study are so compelling that the goal to change public policy was adopted. Normally foundation goals are to make recommendations for public policy or simply to lay out what appears to be the truths of issues.
